    so how long did your old battery last or did i miss reading that relevant point? i purchased a new b250 and am now concerned it will not last two years.

    Mine is around 6 years old, original battery lasted roughly 2 1\2 and I put up with the charge lasting about 2-3 hours for a few months before I got a battery place to make me one up. That battery wasn't anywhere close to being as good as the original so I ordered one online from a dealer for I think it was around 20 bucks. That was a year ago and it's still working fine. I know I'll have to get a new headset somewhere along the line, but for now replacing the battery is working out.

    I just ordered it through Batteries Plus for $15. I had to wait about a week for it, but that was no problem for me. I believe that you have to be careful of leaving it out in extreme conditions. Up here in the north I believe it was the cold that killed the first battery.
