Where does your employer say you can park it?
Flat Earth Trucker, Kyle G. and Eddiec Thank this. -
Check Company policy. Sometimes not allowed. Insurance reasons. I’ve been towed twice while at home. Trailer only once, Both units once, even though I had permission from the store Manager. Finally started paying for a parking spot. Maybe pay, if you can find a daily rate.

Whatever you do, it's on you. Call your bco advisor for info. Use the kingpin lock they had you buy when you went to orientation. Lock the trailer. Padlock the door if it's a van but don't use a seal. A locked trailer with a seal looks like it's got something good inside and someone will peel open the door to look. Where I live I see LS tractor/trailers parked in secure lots. In Chicago I pay $300/mo for a stall locked fence, lights and night guard. Benefit is I can do routine maintenance with no hassle.
