Norfolk Southern in Chattanooga. If you need to, there is a place to stay near the entrance. I stayed there last night. Ain't nuttin around.

I'm rolling around 550 back to Wilmington for hometime after unloading so I elected to stay on the crushed rock pad here. A couple UPS guys parked here as well, so it's somewhat safe.

Schneider is decent to start with, and if you can get with Superior, they're a must in my book. A new terminal is opening in Axis GA. Think that's the location in GA for Superior.

My God, I have never seen truckstops as packed as they have been this week. It's rediculous! The loves in Midland usually has parking 24/7. Trucks were stacked up 5 deep near the fuel island and you could hardly get to the pumps near the store.

The J in Greenwood LA, the same. Trucks double and triple Parked on the sides so you can't even pull out of your spot or exit the darn place. I've never heard so many horns blown.

Pro tip: If it's 2am and some idiot has blocked the exit by double parking, how about you go knock on hos truck instead of laying on the horn for 15-20 second stretches. Don't be the bigger idiot

I graduated today at Greer SC, I asked Mack if I could just start on the 1st so I have xmas with daughter, I can’t get her till the 26th and he said no problem. I tell you so far at superior I’m liking everything, they really do treat you like a person here and not just a driver number.

Who’s opening a new terminal in axis? Schneider? Also if he is thinking about schneider they are giving another pay increase at the first. The same week I quit I got something in mail telling about like another 1.5 cpm pay increase across the board for all bulk drivers, they did a 2 cpm raise back in July. They say they are doing these raises to stay competitive with other tanker company and it is a step in right direction. Today a guy called saying he gets names of people that left Schneider that the company regrets losing and was wanting to know why I chose to leave. I told him the cpm is great, it’s the detention and layover pay they need to change. 65 layover and 10 hr detention is just to low. A lot of bulk drivers pay comes from the detention and layover. But schneider is a great company to work for I still truely believe. Not as good as superior but it’s still good

Superiors hazmat training in Greer sc is absolutely amazing I think. It was defynot a waste of time and anybody who gos will leave knowing a lot more than when they showed up.

We're opening a brand spanking new terminal there in January.

I spoke with some Schneider Bulk guys at the Quala wash in Corapolis. Yikes, they get squat for waiting on a tank wash. We go on the clock the moment we arrive until we leave. The layover and hold over pay is a serious issue too. Brother, you will appreciate it at Superior....not to mention a hotel once in a while too. Schneider pays a better CPM max, but across the board, Superior will treat you right from my limited experience.

BTW, told you Mack was a good guy. He was the first person I spoke to at Superior back in August, and had nothing but a good impression.

Oh yea I’m definitely love the pay package here a lot better, those schneider drivers are not waiting on any tank to ever be cleaned, they never get a tank cleaned for them, they just drop and hook to clean. U notice the qualwashs are over crowded with schneider trailers every one u go to. They just waiting on a load. And if they sit there 19 hours before getting a load they don’t get any pay. We get 5 hours of layover pay :) schneider i have to sit for 24 hours and then u get 65 bucks. So you can see why I’m loving superiors pay package. Run or sit it seems we still will make a good pay check

Guys I saw were sleeping there for nothing, or next to it. Will chat with you offline about my pay for an accepted delivery on a Friday afternoon, after 4 hours waiting on CofA, that wouldn't unload until 0800 the next day. Haha, easiest money ever. Got 3 layover days, hourly, and 2 nights in a hotel before my next load.

As a company driver I had weeks I would gross almost $1/mi thanks to layover/detention/holiday pay. My 2015 average was $.67/mi, Schneider can't touch that even if you are at the top pay rate.

That is exactly why I died a little inside when I saw the Pedricktown Tank Wash is now a Qualawash. Superior should have bought it and operated it like the Springfield terminal/tank wash. But now its going to be overrun with Schneiders and god knows who else, and be typical qualawash poor quality.
