I kind of figured they were heading you towards the house. I got in last night. Fair number of trucks on the yard for a Tuesday. Might be a couple of days before they get us back out.

Loaded up this morning at the Sprague terminal in S. Portland. Taking a load of clay slurry into Ohio. It doesn't deliver until Friday so I'm home for today rather than spend a day sitting on the Ohio Tpk. After that I'm trying to work my way to Memphis to check out a truck I'm interested in buying. If all goes as planned I should be rolling in a new to me truck by the end of January. I figure it will take a couple weeks to get new plates/permits/equipment and the financing all lined up.

I just kept playing with the seat adjustments , my 12 mack has all kinds of adjustments , I think you can pump up the front of the seat , then the sides . I remember when I first got my mack I had an issue of sliding forward , I think a big guy had it before me lol

They may have some extra seats sitting around the shop they can throw in there. Some guys have the passenger seats removed so they can have a dorm fridge, microwave and more room.

Yeah, I need to slow down a little. I'm doing 16 ish right now and the home team doesn't care for that. Might have to cut back to 8 to 12 at a time.

Yea definitely, it’s good money but money doesn’t replace your life or family time. Im fairly new to trucking still and I can’t stand being in the trucks more than 10 days anymore. I have super respect for the ones that can though. I start going nuts after a week or so. I think I wanna take passenger seat and all cabinets out my truck. Then it might seem bigger
