I feel ya, I did 8 weeks once but New to job and it actually was good for me I think but will never happen again. I'm finishing up 3 weeks now and I'm completely sick of this truck. 1 week isn't bad, 10-12 days is pushing it but I have to cause I live 2.5 hours from charlotte

Back when I started and was running system I ran a bunch of NC to Ca loads of snot. Those always kept me out between 2-3 weeks. Getting to do resets in a hotel helped a bunch and made those small SPCR sleepers tolerable

I have a min $ I want to make per day. My previous company didn't pay the highest mileage rates, but we got great accessorial pay so I would always try and take a shortest load with either pump or comp pay. After a couple of weeks / month you start to figure out the good & bad loads.
I'm assuming you're getting paid %. Make sure if you're running otr, you have another load lined up and you're now headed to a dead area and you have to bounce a long way.
I will work the system as best as I can.

Yea I am trying to frigure it out what's the best way to keep empty miles to a minimum. I ran some oil loads , they are ok, but no Serios $$ in them. Guess study and see what works for me

As an O/O it's diferent as far how numbers work. I have to average out to a point where I am comfortable with a weekly $$. Some days are better then other and as long as my weekly goal is met I am ok

    19d Thanks this.
