It's always nice to have something simple installed, just-in-case :)

I've been running for 7 years. Never had one. I bought one once, but it didn't want to work in my Cascadia. So I gave it to @DenaliDad. He retired a week later.

FWIW, I got a Cobra 29LX on sale at Love's. Works just fine on the stock Volvo antennas. Can't talk for "miles-n-miles", but I don't want to, either.

i had a few different cb's over the years. my final cb is a cobra classic 25.

    now sitting in the basement.

radios only last for so long, why spend large amounts of money?

    but that's me.

That was true 15 years ago. They don't make the same radio today.

I made a choice off that rack.

Connex top left shelf OR the one connex directly below it with other frequency ability as a spare access to Ham etc.

None of the others had any draw.

Go by Wells, NV on I-80... You can still hear the "ladies of the evening" on channel 19 there... Lol

If you are already in Nev, there are some legal counties for that. Regulated to be sure.

I only know becuase wife and I would pass some of them frequently up there. Its a strange economy so to speak for people who partake in that.

Welp, my cb was barrowed without my knowledge I guess is the political way of saying it, so..

Gonna have to get another Connex 3300hp, i don't even know if they make them anymore.. Anyone know of a good cb shop off i10 in South West?

By good I mean, your cb has never caught fire, they don't over tune, they don't steal parts and replace with cheaper, you know the deal.

Edit: are Connex 3300 hp still made and are they of same quality if so from 20 yrs ago

    x1Heavy and Dave_in_AZ Thank this.
