I know Jersey sprays the cheapest thing and tons of it so the salt absolutely messes up the roads and the underside of vehicles.

Indiana for sure is the worst .. ohio turnpike is the best cleaned road in the country. Indiana toll road probably the worst. .. can go through Illinois on clean road just a mess through Indiana then nice again in Ohio ..... west Virginia does a decent job .... it doesn't snow enough in Kentucky to worry about it ( at least that's what they say ) upstate ny does a really good job considering how much they have to deal with ... Tennessee likes ice on there bridges Wisconsin is also good .... Minnesota doesn't do much cause it just snows again anyway Washington state does a good job of keeping snowsquamie clean cali likes to leave a little patch on Donner snowy so they can write tickets .... Wyoming doesn't do to bad in the daytime Pennsylvania was doing ok but have reverted to the it will melt sooner or later method

I don't envy you drivers who work in the east or the northern states through winter. I'm sure the money is good during those times, but that's too much stress for me to deal with. The west coast sucks in a lot of ways, but our winters are mild and most days are above freezing. When chain restrictions go up, I shut down until it's over.
