That's pretty good for all miles paid. Maybe I'm wrong.

Maybe were both wrong! I'm quoting higher effective immediately. I don't care if I lose some loads for a week or 2 while trying to readjust my aim. It had to be done. Everything around us is going up up up up.

I’m 100% O/O. I have one truck and trailer. That’s all I want, less headache. I do as much mechanical work as I can, except my truck has been off for an inframe. Wish I knew how to do that. Been told it’s all just nuts and bolts. Other than that, paperwork, dispatching, and booming loads are all done by me. Permits when I need them.

So I have no one to blame but me when I land in the NE

Based just north of the central Buckeye.

You know what? You're right, I'm going to quote higher than normal too. Shake the tree and see what falls out.

At this point I have nothing to lose. I am debt free with a mint truck and my lust of all of this is wearing off anyway.

I'll go out with a bang or the extra money will just further motivate me to to stick with it and maybe consider a new truck.

I mean if we aren't planning ahead for new/more equipment then what are we even doing?

    I agree. Totally agree.

You may look into trip planning and hauling both ways as well. Coming back empty every time leaves a ton of money on the table.

And this IFTA audit turned out to be cake. I was a tad nervous for a split second but after seeing what they want (Q2 for 2019) I only ran 16 loads and I keep excellent records.

This is actually BY FAR the least stressful thing in all of the things associated with being a carrier/O/O.

It is so stupid though....like someone is getting a big fat State salary and all the bennies that go with it to look for pennies in a mountain made of dollars.

The older I get the more I despise government in every single shape it takes.

Like WTH man they think a one man operation is going to bother with fudging fuel tax stuff? It would not make or break a carrier/O/O in anyway whatsoever!

Do they even have a clue how much money is involved in this crap!? Like, "I am gonna chase these IFTA pennies and show them gov tards!?" LOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOL.

I think you would be surprised at how many try to buck the system.

That sounds about right. Not much left for Equipment payments at that IMO. Maybe.20 cpm. Without getting my calculator out. On my first cup of coffee here. Not ready to think yet.
