What driving sections of the CDL test does VA make you do?
Is it Straight Back, Alley Docking, Offset ? Or what did you have to do ?
I'm planning on taking the driving section of the test in a month and want to be practicing the maneuvers that I will be tested on.
Thank you for your time, Drivers.
Who recently took their Class A driving test in Virginia ?

We'd hope that you can perform them all.
You're going to use them all out here.
We don't want our hoods taken off.
You've got a month... get real good at em all.
You'll likely be tested on ALL of them.Puppage and CrappieJunkie Thank this. -
Go to DMV on Sunday with cones and practice with the spots painted on the ground.homeskillet Thanks this. -
Thanks. I am practicing all of them and had my cdl for several years hauling cars over 300k accident and damage free. Your hoods are safe...
Just looking for someone who will drop a pearl for the swine so I can concentrate and spend the most time on the ones I know I’ll be tested on.Chinatown Thanks this. -

I tested in VA a long time ago. They only had 2 skills test, straight back and curve back. Make sure you blow your horns and GET OUT AND LOOK.
There were 10 of us getting ready to graduate. All we needed was to pass the road test. This douche of an examiner failed all of us 3 times. The 4th time, we had a different examiner that passed us.BCV Thanks this. -
I think I got al the maneuvers down. Loading dock and parallel parking too.
Seems like the hardest part for me will be the pre trip inspection... I'm always forgetting something but I got the LAB test down. -
