Who uses uber/lift ?

I frequently used Lyft to get from where I can park my truck to my home wjen I bring my truck home. It's pretty cheap compared to taxi.

 

I've used both to get around big cities like Chicago. It's very convenient. It's the best when you've had a little too much to drink at the bar, or to get to a motel, or Walmart, a few dollars ain't nothing to take care of business

 

Seems they're expensive all the time. Taxi's don't seem to be quite as high.

I had a friend meet us at a concert. Have no idea why. She uber'd. Paid $65 to get there. I took her back. Her car would have been probably $4 roundtrip + $10 parking.

 

Doesn't Uber have Surge Pricing that applies to special events or locations when they expect high demand? I use Lyft for a short distance trip and it is about half of what a taxi would cost.

 

Picked up a car in Spartanburg 3 yrs ago.
Flew in to Charlotte and took uber down...50 bucks! I thought it was a great deal.

 

It was still an extreme price.

 

I remember a taxi trip back to orientation and there were two ways to get back. The 6.50 way and the 21.00 way.

Guess which way the taxi driver took me? The 21.00 way.

 

Just be careful you’ll have a ride back. My ex threw a tantrum till we took an Uber to go shopping when she got done we didn’t have a ride back (just like I said) so we had a nice 5mile walk with several hundred dollars worth of ####

 

All the time! I like Lyft better; it’s a little cheaper!
