Why are truck/trailer prices so high?

I am somewhat wary of those numbers, it captures only those claiming unemployment, not the people that have dropped out of the workforce and are not looking.

This was a campaign issue for trump in 2016, he rightly pointed out the unemployment # was bs, then 2 months into office he touted the same figures as a signal of health of the economy.

Ive been paying attention not to those reported figures, but how my friends and aquaintances around me are doing. Full employment or not, we (the middle and lower class) still havent recovered from 2008.
