'Why Believe in a God? Just be Good'

The holidays weren't meant for them(the atheists) so why should we give a $#!7?

I'm honestly tired of these people trying to dismantle us, the spirit of Christmas, and the whole religion piece by piece. They say they don't want people to force their beliefs on them, but they're the ones trying to impose their will on us.

I DO believe in God. Got a problem with that? Too bad! How about instead of the "Why believe in God?" bit why not just have some inspirational line like "Be kind to your neighbor"? Oh hey! That's a Christian teaching too!

 

Agreed! That is what burns me up, the HYPOCRISY! Well, just remember, we know who will have the last laugh...

 

That's the problem with these people in the first place. They have no faith. I think faith is a very important cornerstone of living well. The people that want to remove God are the very same people that have allowed society to get into the tailspin it's in now.

 

A wise person on here somewhere wrote something to the effect of
"your child can't read the Bible in school, but he'll be able to read it in prison."

 

I've got to give every one of you that has posted in this thread a big AMEN!

I firmly believe that these folks who are trying to destroy Christianity are spokesmen for Satan.

 

I noticed that Fred Edwords mentioned that the agnostics, atheists, and other types of non-theists,
feel alone during the holiday season(s).
Hmmmmmmmm.

You're never alone with Jesus.
"Why believe in God"?

Well, ..... in my never so humble opinion,
if y'all gotta ask, y'all NEED to know.
Feelin' alone?
Behold!
HE stands at the door, and knocks.
Open that door and let some Light into that lonely room.

"Be good for goodness sake"?
Practice your own preachin', Fred.
We Christians don't rain on YOUR parade ---
so don't pee on ours.

If you're feelin' alone, it's of your OWN making.
Don't blame Christ or REAL Christians.
And, as for X-Mas --- how would you like it if you were referred to as
Fred-X?

Jesus IS the REASON for the season --- and YOU want Him removed?

Well, ..... for starters,
because we ARE Christians.
And I disagree --- I think the holidays ARE meant for "them", as well as us.
After all, Jesus loves ALL of us, ........ right?
Jesus didn't tell us that He ONLY loves those who believe.
But He DID tell us that those who DO, will have everlasting life.
He ALSO tells us that not EVERYone is destined for Heaven.
We have free will, and He lets US choose.
Some of us will, and some of us won't.

There's a Book that warns us that this WILL happen. In fact, it's been called
The Greatest Story EVER Told.
Also known as The Bible.
Prophesy --- contained within.

Kindness?
Hmmmmmm
Wouldn't that include kindness toward those who don't believe?

Rather than display contempt towards non-believers, why not
shower them with the Love of Christ?
Would they be able to handle that?

And the truth shall set y'all free.
