The oil fields in Canada have very special mud where AWD is of no use?

No, but they do have dozers there to pull the trucks around. Obviously if all-wheel-drive was cost effective they would have them on the trucks. These trucks often run a hundred miles or more on highways before getting to the site.

I find it fascinating that you can simply look at a YouTube video and make the assessment that the people who order that equipment and build it are that stupid without having any experience yourself in what they are doing.

We didn't have a question, and that one isn't built for running up and down the highways. Notice that it's loaded on a lowboy?

I am still waiting on video of you driving your beloved DAF through hilly terrain @ 900 RPM fully loaded. You can head to oilpatch after that one I guess and tell them how stupid they are with their truck specs. What you find on YouTube doesn't suffice.

Nothing prevents it it's just not as efficient as the slightly lighter trucks.

    SAR Thanks this.

As for fifth wheel and frane overhang,in some cases some manufacturers dont offer different overhangs but it is related to wb. Man have this

as for lovering cab it can be done.however it significantly raise price and makes it less interesting comparing to real cranes.

Never made so far, in theory could be done
