dont underestimate unimog, this is quite capable machine for offroad, in fact on base of unimog MB was producing tractors from 1972 to 1991 and than company werner forst continued to make them

I'm sure, Fendt is quite expensive. I don't know how it is these days, but in the past John Deere was known for its high fuel consumption.

Well done commercial . But at 3 to 1 cost factor ? I like stated you have no idea what we were working in! But have 3 machines running instead of the one , will get 3 times the work done. One poster was talking about a 60% grade , that is mild , now add in running over trees while on a 70%side slope. Service road was rough on any vehicle , but we are talking about the slope up the side of the cliff , looking down on the service road.

Not sure when he will be back . But sure , a right angle (L) is a 90 degree angle or a 100% slope . Think he is talking about a side slope. The left side is 60 degrees higher then the right. Give a better idea % the line in the sym is real close to 70 degree. Not a good way to measure it on the screen , but I think you get the idea. Most wheel vehicles would rolled over the 60* mark. Center of gravity is what dictates when. Making track wider lowers center of gravity. Free like I am being rude, but not ment to be , just clear.

image.jpg This pic is just to show size of brush we were mowing . Close to a ten inch tree that driver just fell. We would mow through the trees strength in front of the camera . Brown is one of the company that makes the cutters. We made our roll cages much heavier the that example. Also ran dual tires all round to add traction and lower COG . Now I think you can see you would not want to use much else in this line of work . Sorry about the ad, but best example I could find.

Back to 98989's question . image.jpg This looks real close to 60 degree. Now drive away from the camera.

i know math, but my english is not as good. i was thinking you are talking about front/rear angle not on side

i have been in 38 degree or 78% in unimog

    60 degree would be 173%
