Why do so many Americans hate European trucks?

Daimler has similar suspension here called tuff Trac I believe. Volvo NA uses similar suspension on vocational trucks and starting to put them Macks. Nothing like wrestling Mack Camelback springs around!

there are no leaf springs anymore for 20years.

this is more comfortable, lighter empty better traction, last twice longer, cost twice more to replace.
available from 44k, 57.3k in few versions, 66.2k, 70.5k, 79.4k

When I was working on the great pyramids we had 200 gallon water tanks with a 10 yd mixer. We could add water to the loads ...of it was federal or state job the inspector would tell us when and how much to add .....

 

Trunnion is pivot point/where springs attach to. Camelback was bronze or rubber in lighter set up.

 

Nice if you have one!!! Didn't for awhile. Kiene clutch caddy with adapter is nice. Best is replacing whole trunnion stand.
