Why no uniformity in laws, state to state?

What do you mean "Labor gets the difference and 18%"? Can you imagine a person getting their job back in trucking? The company would set them up for a fall and it would probably be easy for them to fire them for a supposed legitimate reason.....then the driver is really screwed (i.e. DAC).

 

The DOT, State and Federal try to do their job. But they're not concerned with how companies completely destroy a persons life and future, with false information. And regulations that allow them to do it with impunity.

It's not their job. Much of it, is our own fault.

Until drivers decide to NOT take the BS handed to them. It will continue.

I'll walk in a heartbeat, from a company that slights me in the least. Just ask my former employer why I left them. I won't wait to get DAC'd
