    Hello all
I’m looking for advice on the best internet option for the truck. My cell phone hotspot isn’t cutting it. I have tried the search function, to no avail.
    TIA

AT&T is my provider. After 10 GB of hotspot usage, it slows it way down.

Before i recommend moving to verizon, which i will,

1, try to make sure your phone is 5g capable, not 5 g exclusive (dont think those even exist just yet, but itll happen eventually)

2, how much data are you trying to chew through? If just a little more (3 or 4 days occasionally) than 10gig, could stick with your att and just pay for it on your plan

3, i use verizons 5g get more, which throttles hotspot after 50GB And runs me about 70$ a month.

But i rarely hit 15, one month i hit 40 GB, but i was installing and updating wow over my hotspot...

I use a note 10 plus and dont carry insurance on it, bought it unlocked from samsung, check their refurbished stuff ON samsungs site directly

    tscottme Thanks this.

Exactly the reason for my answer. Even if you're being insulting.

You need a better company. Metro never slows me down and I have used 200 gigs of data at times.

Rubber duck kw and tscottme Thank this.

If you're serious about your internet here's what I use:

Unlimited, uncapped, unthrottled data on Verizon's network from $25/mo.

    4G LTE Wi-Fi router
    (they have 5G option too).

You can connect multiple devices at the same time. Using the Xfinity app I get all the cable channels I would at home. I can update my GPS, download files in my laptop and watch TV at the same time. Never has a problem with limits, caps or throttling. I can get wi-fi anyplace I can get a Verizon signal. Once everything is set up you never have to mess with it.
