There's too many lights and noises for most wildlife to want to get near you
RockinChair, O.Henry and WesternPlains Thank this. -
You were going to be dead before you knew what hit you anyway. -

Can't agree with many...
Cougars... All you have to do is watch the trees. If you make eye contact with one. It's over. He won't do anything. They will only ambush. Also.... I had no idea how wicked a Cougar scream is. Really wicked sounding. Never heard anything like this on any recording.
Rancher told me he had a horse that refused to go down into a valley. The horse knew a cougar was there. .... My dog knew about my cougar. Animals are more aware.
Coyoty's can get very aggressive in winter when hungry. Also with the rest of their pack. That's when those tried closing in on me.RockinChair and tucker Thank this. -
Cougars are not the problem, some have beautiful houses and have a ton of money. On the other hand "Chupacabra" I heard will suck you dry, not good. Ill pick cougars any day.
SuperRookie, RockinChair, cjb logistics and 1 other person Thank this. -
I've seen two cougars up here. One just last week. Both times they were just curious. Last week I saw one watching me from the tree line while I was loading.
The other went walking around the truck. How we didn't run into each other was a miracle, I could only tell because it was snowing and they were fresh tracksrabbiporkchop and Lepton1 Thank this.
