Will a past suspended license prevent me from getting my CDL?

In my state as long as your license is current you can get a cdl. finding employment with a prior suspension is more difficult but if crst says they would hire you on I would think you are good to go.

 

If your dl is current and have no pending citations as in (all clear) then your state will grant you your cdl. As far as crst is concerned, they are like most major carriers with insurance premiums...."it's all about trust". They are a self insured company, like most major carriers. Disclose ALL your previous citations and their insurance dept will let them hire you. Most companies will tell you this "please be truthful on your app", but if you are clear, then you're clear and hired.

 

Most companies are more concerned about "moving violations"

the first one was from a accident I was in on 02/06/2008 I was on my way to work during a snow storm when I hit some black ice and lost control of my car and took out a fire hydrate because I knock it down it cost me 5,000, I did not have the money so they made me get SR22 insurance which I have to carry tell 05/12/2012
the other suspensions was for not having the insurance because i did not make enough at my job. I did find some insurance that I can afford and my DL
has been valid as of 02/24/2011

I have been truned down by 4 companys why cant i get hired the accident was not my falt but i did damage the fire hydrate how long do i have to whait before a company will hire my would someone please let me know.

 

because u have three suspensions most companies will give u only 1 and it cant be due to points id say u are out of luck until they start to drop off
