Honestly, to each his own, and I can see where living next to Jake brake central might irritate you after awhile. Personally, I've loved the sound of a strong Jake since I was a kid. I'm 40 now, and the good ones still send a shiver down my spine.

I was parked at a receiver the other night. For the first time since I started going there, another truck squeezed in next to me. Parked his hood right next to my sleeper. Not sure what engine he had, but it was a long nosed Pete, and that thing sounded angry. I spent the next five minutes before I fell asleep wishing my truck sounded that good.

 

Probably repowered with a volvo.

Don’t be a hater driver! One hitter coffee pots are the bomb. I remember when I didn’t want to give up my flip phone for an iPhone a week or so ago, but I am getting spoiled with all the technology. Since we have a three story trailer we have more than one robot.
