8 hour day 152 dollars at 19 hourly until 40 hours. Then time and half for 30 on your 70 total.
Mileage pay is too low. Needs to be 30 cents more, this is not 2002. My pay was higher than that 0.42 then. Closer to .50
Also if anything happens in the night you cannot put away the miles or stay awake or sleep well by day.
Take the hourly. The nightly 500 is not worth it. You did not indicate what job you will be doing hourly.Lav-25 Thanks this. -
Do it untill rates and loads Improve, and then move on!

Heavy road construction. The Companies great , and just the regular downside, jbut you right about the 42, can survive on it , but not get ahead. ( bank more of it ) .

take home pay was about $1,200 after taxes....
so at (say even 8.5 hours) at (say) 42.5 hours was about $35.00 per hour.
as to your 500 mile round trip, you are grossing LESS than i was....about $1080
you would be taking home roughly $780 a week after taxes.(depending on your tax base, i was using at least 25% take out for taxes)
i'd stay home for that...
