These clowns are trained to lowball. They usually come up 200-300 (on 1000 offer) if they get desperate enough.

    I just don't offense and say sorry. I can't..

They do pay fast and they pay well if you get the right run with them.

My ONLY beef with them is they are clearly trying to take over the planet (I don't mind that) but in doing so they sure call a lot!

But hey they have been nothing but good people to me.....I even have a local TQL office in Ohio now!

Their main office is, but it seems like they have offices all over the country. I've dealt with one from Charleston, SC. Some of their brokers are very decent and respectful

Had another one today. Their latest scheme seems to be trying to work the us dollar vs the cdn dollar.

Friday today 2 pm. "I have a load going from here to here (490 loaded miles) do you have any reefers? It picks up this Sunday. Monday delivery to USA and Monday is a cdn holiday. Straight through load. He has it 3 times per week he says. Wants to know if I will do it before telling his rate. "I get this done for 550-675 usd so Canadian that's 800 something". He wasn't very happy when I said he isn't even in the ballpark and I'd pass every time for that rate. I have regular customers paying about 50% better than that on 2/3 of the loaded miles. I could easily tell by the tone in his voice he is desperate. I am not able to cover the load at any rate anyways. I hope someone really tightens the screws if it gets hauled at all.

It's always funny when you can hear the air letting out of them. They were just so sure when they were dialing you up that they have their truck. Lol

I like the ones where I answer the phone and you can hear the trailing end of their conversation with someone else in their office because they don't realize you've answered yet, it's like: "oh, yeah, yeah I got this one covered for sure.... uh, uh hello sir how are you this fine day?" As if they care.

Sometimes it's as fun taking the wind out of their sails even when you don't book anything. Especially when it's tight and you know they aren't getting any strikes. Lol

Yep. When he starts off "do you have any reefers in ontario?" (Canada). I know they know I'm based here. So when I say yes they seem to think I'm available for whatever shi. they're trying to shovel my way. It's kind of annoying to be honest. It isn't even close to market rate.
