    I didn't finish.
Package for $480.00 down and $80.00 a month and this includes the installation and maintenance. No matter who I drive for.

if that's whats important to you, sounds like a bargain. Personally, I pay $40 a month for Direct TV in my house and the only way I can justify it is because my wife is here all the time. If it were just me, I'd end up paying about $2 an hour per month for all the use I get out of it.

You must be the luckiest driver out there to have time for TV. In the last company I drove for we had to drive 16-18 h a day - no time for TV, or even some times shower. With trucks locked at 74 we still could barely make it on time. You have to sacrifice your sleep and rest in order to satisfy your dispatcher and broker.

You can save yourself some money by buying a dvr, and dish from a local dealer then getting a family member or friends who already has a direct tv account to activate your reciever on their account. You'll get the same packages they have regardless where you are in the country. The only channels you won't get are the local channels because those are always broadcast on a narrow band. They will just add the second receiver on as a "lake house" or "summer home". I did this same thing for about 5 years, I had around 275 channels and only paid $35 a month. My receiver and dish were paid for @ $150 can.

I have unlimited data from xfinity and can stream anything from dishnetwork onto my phone or any other device in the cab if I wanted to. My question would be what o/o has time for TV in the cab? This sounds like something your typical mismanaged company driver might be interested in though.

No. Paper is a must in our comp. On the logs everything is/must be legal.
