Thanks for the reply. I quoted you and asked my question before I read further and saw you had already answered my question.

    You get a new truck?

That's strange. I'll have to take a peek and see whats set. I don't think I changed anything.

everyone i know with satellite tv gets literally bombarded with charges and fees nonstop till they want out and then get another volley of charges and fees and harassment.

i wouldn't get a stupid satellite if it was free.

No to a dish for me. I do not even have a tv in truck. But if I do it will be download movies or dvd. And a regular antenna.

I like sports. College football and Nascar specifically. I dunno how anyone that enjoys sports can cut cords.

As far as TV on the road that's the last thing on my mind. I've never had a tv in any truck for 18 years now. I would never watch it on the road who has time for that? I'm either working or sleeping when I'm with that truck. I do enjoy xm radio while driving though.

Is there a set contract for a specific amount of months you must use the service for? 12 months will cost you $960 + the $480 = $1440

Sattelite service is last year's tech. No reason for it for truckers anymore.

You have directvnow, psvue, hulu, sling, youtubetv, netflix, and a whole slew of others and more coming out. All can be watched on a pc or tv with roku or amazon and even apple.
You also have 5g starting to come out. And congress is pushing to get it out sooner over later and they want ALL of rural america covered.

    Tb0n3 Thanks this.

That'd be great if mobile carriers didn't fight data usage tooth and nail.
