Would getting hired on as a helper for a moving company increase my chances of being a driver(local or possibly regional] after working at a company for a couple years? Straight truck not tractor trailer... non cdl or class b (sleeper trucks or not) if what I'm looking for
Would working as a helper increase the chance to drive moving trucks?

Yes. It probably will, but I'd make certain that the employer knows that is your intention BEFORE you accept the opportunity and commit to doing it.
Showing up on time.. being reliable.. proving yourself to be an consistent asset to the company... YES.
They'll want to be able to help advance your skills than can help THEM serve their customers more efficiently.
State your intention.Rideandrepair, alds, Deere hunter and 1 other person Thank this. -
