    Right, the FMCSA doesn’t care if you break EPA regs. It’s not their place to enforce those. Same as the FMCSA doesn’t really care if you delete your engine.

    That .45/mi 1099 will equate to about .31/mi if you consider your Fed Tax, SS/Medicare, and some type of Workmans Comp Ins.

    I decided to just stay with my flatbed company, things have gotten a lot better with them including a good dispatcher who is a former driver and a 55 cpm guarantee in pay.
