Hey Kaonix, that is what Google is for...we are not a spam repository here. Move on if you don't like it. AND if you want to blog somewhere else, go for it! Just don't use us to spam your site is all. I don't go to your site to spam a link to us and we won't accept it here either. Period. WHY would we want a link to your site when the whole freggin' point of this site is to do it here and have all the information on-hand and easily accessible? I am always AMAZED at your type as you come here to complain about NOT being able to spam us??? WTF? People are AMAZING. It would be like me walking into your house, pissing on your carpet and me EXPECTING you to like it AND then complain when you don't! In other words, I have my own toilet, sure...I use it, I won't ask to use your carpet! THINK for once! Amazing...come here and post a WORTHLESS post complaining that we don't want you to spam our site....SHEESH!

Uh ? I beg to differ. You know how to set one up through auto forms, most likely.

Just from your basic info here. I have to assume that you know very little about anything. Especially running a web site as a business.

Do you do your own scripting? Or is it a simple "fill in the blank"? Do you hard code your "web pages"? Or fill in the boxes?

"Free ads" are an invitation to every troll in the world to attempt to increase their search engine standings, by posting a link.

Do you understand how meta tags and source work? Do you understand, and know how to block spiders?

Are you familiar with the term htaccess ? Have you ever grepped a file?

A blog is a far cry from being a "website". And this isn't a blog, although it has access to them.

In days past, personal web sites were relegated to the trash bin within a search engine. Because that's what most of them are...trash.

They have no relevance, nor are they based in very many facts. It's the "new messenger" service of the year. Next year, it will be something else.

That is EXACTLY right! We used to allow some links, but no way anymore as it gets TRASHY and RIDICULOUS! One thing that ENRAGES me is when these "so-called" marketing experts actually TELL people to go to forums and spam their site links! So, then we have to root them out because of those morons. AARGH. AND, if someone cannot afford $10/month for a link in their signature, then SCREW them. I PAY for ALL this myself AND yes I DO code, hack, etc...so this takes me a LOT and I mean a LOT of work! I pay $4000 JUST for a server every year now due to the size of THIS forum! And, someone has the BALLS to come here and complain they cannot leach off of us? WTF? So, we STOPPED allowing ANY trucking blogs, trucking forums and the like due to this. We won't even let them PAY for a link now as I am FED up anymore.

GOOGLE what you want if you think you need to find info elsewhere, WTH is so hard in that? I do it ALL the time! AND you ALL are perfectly welcome to put you OWN opinions on trucking, or whatever, in here, NP! We are VERY open, but simply will NOT put up with spam anymore. And, YES, when you run around promoting your own site by posting your links in forums you ARE a spammer, period.

Sorry, this just gets me fired up anymore due to the absolute GALL of it!
