Wow-Roehl slammed on website

    Just for the heck of it I did a Google search "best trucking company for rookies" and among the top 3 or 4 websites that popped up was wiki.answers.com

    Get this:

    Who is the Best trucking company for beginners?
    Answer:
    Without question, it's Stevens Transport. However, I believe their hiring area is limited to the western United States, but I could be wrong about that. Crete/Schaffer also maintains a pretty good reputation. TMC has a reputation as being a good company for those interested in getting into flatbeds - I would be a bit skeptical about driving for TMC, personally - word on the grapevine is that the company is not in a very good way right now.

    I would recommend you avoid Swift Transportation, Central and Central Refrigerated, C.R. England, and Roehl Transport. (emphasis added)

    I have never seen Roehl mentioned in the same sentence (paragraph even) as Swift or C.R. England.

    Lesson here: beware many internet sources!!

    At least they won't just take anyone to drive, unlike swift/werner/may/crengland/knight/stevens, etc... to name a few.

    I am training at Roehl and so far it is ok. But just getting going time will tell if I am a fit for them and them for me.
