    So I decided to take time off. The pain was getting worse and getting cramps on my inner forearm muscle and elbow pain on both arms. Went to see a worker comp doc. Says it's carpal tunnel and gave me pain meds and splint to wear at night.

    The thing is my pain and numbness is on the the pinkie finger and ring finger. From my research carpal tunnel syndrome doesn't affect the pinkie finger as the pressure is on the median nerve. My symptoms are more of dysfunction with the ulnar nerve.

    I had carpal tunnel and it affected from my thumb going over toward my middle finger down through that side of my wrist. Kept going numb and many times so numb it caused a lot of pain. It came on slowly and I had it for years before it got bad enough to see the doc. He said what you did, that Carpal T doesn't usually affect the pinky or even the ring finger very much. A MRI may well find your problem and you might tell that WC doc to send you for one.

    Thanks for the feedback. I tried telling them that but the doc was dismissive. Did you have pain or tendonitis at your elbows?

    No. But at times the pain shot from my hand all the way past my elbow. Other times it was just numbness that got so bad it was walking me up a lot at night. And I finally had the surgery so it's all gone now, except for some arthritic pain I still get at times in my hands..
