ive been sfs since yesterday. but i left for my secret hiding spot. its ridiculously annoying at the terminal, the weather was basically perfect for having the windows down and people are always blasting their apu's and idling all the time.
i got 3300 miles the past week though, and almost all in 55mph land aka the 7th layer of hell. not that i go 55 but i have been keeping it under 60 the last couple months to stop pushing my luck. i did use up almost all my hours so i reset to get some stuff finally fixed on the truck.

Still at home, bored to tears. Close to thinking about ending hometime early. Really beginning to think this "living arrangement" I have isn't going to work out too well.

Just outside of Atlanta on an off-ramp...Couldn't find any parking and ran out of hours...Made it all the way from PA in 11hrs!!!...I also moved my delivery time up from noon to 6am so I can get to Dalton and 'hopefully' on to KY early...More than likely I'll be waiting for a load late at night, but oh well, I'll let them work on my truck all day if need be...

which way did you come down? 75,85,95 Either way you had to have passed a bunch of TS's lol Dalton is only 1.5 hours north of ATL

I came down 85 and all the ones I stopped at from exit 129 on were full...Trust me, sitting on a ramp is not my preference...
Got up at 4am to make my delivery then drove to Dalton...Waiting on 11pm load to KY then HOMETIME!!!!! WOOHOO!!!!!!
Going to get oil changed and left rear drive tire repaired, it started losing 30-50lbs of air a day under load a few days ago...May have them look at APU also, we;ll see when they get to it as I need to get some sleep for all night ride... -
Making a Spot in a TS 101:
Step 1: Pick a Spot
Step 2: Apply the parking brake
Step 3: Shut off the Truck
Ta'da!!!!!
Just make sure your not blocking anyone in or blocking any part the the TS, Scale, Fuel Island, Entrance,Exit. Most TS's have room to make a few more spots not all of them but allot of them do....

I've "made" more spots than I can remember, it was possible, I would have...In and around the Atlanta area is packed, or for some reason, last night they were...I was ok, it wasn't like I was going to be there too long anyway and I didn't need any services...
Now today, oy vey, spent 6hrs in the shop getting an oil change and tire replaced....6HRS! -
got home for a night. never thought of it but if i just casually ask to go to denver on my empty availables that might be a decent way to get back more. assuming i stay west like i have been the last few weeks.
i had a furniture load, 2 stops in the mountains one that was def in a residential neighborhood but i got the truck in pretty easily. yesterday was beautiful i cant believe i get paid to do this sometimes. i LOVE my rockies when the snow goes away and theres no ski traffic or chains. going to vegas in about an hour with beer.
