Flat bread lol. It’s a national average. I’m sure there are drivers getting more per mile.
-
Every YouTuber will go out and post how rates are great now and the market will be flooded with new entrants
D.Tibbitt Thanks this. -
I’ve been patient-I’m more patient than most drivers are allowed to be.
But even that has its limits!lol -
In Werners 4th quarter earnings call, the ceo said they would be adding capacity. Not because they expected rates or volume to increase, but they need to grow or go bankrupt. It's an odd quirk of 'economies of scale'.mjd4277 Thanks this.

You know what's at a 3 year high - inflation.
And freight volume is flat. -

Yep, just spot market.
Got $6.08 on 800 miles last week…GA to PA two days on the trailer. Seem to average around $2,400 per day daily revenue.
I remember back a couple years or so ago talking with a flatbedder. He said flatbed was in the toilet and couldn’t believe what I was getting doing van. He left shaking his head.
I got 2 regular bottled water loads I’ve been running the past 4 years.. both have increased $800 in the last few months Both are on the truck one day each $2,300 and $2,500.
Saw a couple loads in Austin yesterday going to WA both were close to $10k each.
Helps that I’ve been doing it a few years and know who pays. -
Thats awesome man . Love to see people kicking ### out there on the spot market
