Key off and all switches off, green and yellow wires in the pigtail to the trailer are solid hot. Key on turn signals on, tractor signals are working perfect but still sending hot to the trailer through the green and yellow. Is this a chassis node issue?

They corrode, or crack. They cause hell when bad.

Well it's not the chassis node or the phillips plug. Other than lighting this b#@!tch on fire i'm lost

So left and right turn on trailer are on solid?

My last Pete had a grounding strap on the fifth wheel to the frame, check that and see if there is one there, and if it is, check to see if it is broken or frayed.
FdEF Thanks this. -
L Trailer turn is connector B pin 16
R Trailer turn is connector C pin 20
Dont see to many bad chassis nodes internally. Pretty sure your inputs are good since all your truck lighting is good. These go straight from the node to the 7 way. My money is on a short to power somewhere. Is your center pin hot? Do you have any continuity between the L or R pins and center when disconnected?spsauerland Thanks this. -
Turns out if you use snap ons wireless tester, its so sensitive that it will pick up even 1 volt which the truck generally sends 3-4 volts out the turn signal pins all the time. As i was testing it it was showing hot, even though it was barely anything. #### snap on overachievers!
