Watching the news this morning and seen where another bone head wasn’t paying attention….
Bud A., Sons Hero, Tall Mike and 1 other person Thank this. -

And he wasn't even that wide, definitely not paying attention!! I always get up on the shoulder/sidewalk thingy on the right to avoid the booth!
Bud A., Magoo1968, drvrtech77 and 2 others Thank this. -
And there is problem, he wasn’t even in the proper lane of the tollbooth he should have been in, he was next lane over for legal width loads.
I come through there with oversized loads out of Florida at 13’-6” and just as you mentioned get up on the curb to the right to avoid any problems hitting the tollbooth if I need to.
As you and I know there are signs directing us wider loads to the far right booth to avoid these issues, driver must have been not paying attention or suffering from the inability to read a road sign….Bud A., drvrtech77, nikmirbre and 2 others Thank this. -
Oh, I see. I went back and re-read. I see now the problem was he tried to go through lane 2.......
Magoo1968 and OLDSKOOLERnWV Thank this.
