    They said winter weather conditions were present at the time of the accident. Which,given this time of year up in that region means snow,ice,wind and possibly fog. All four can occur at once in that area. The wind gusts and ice are the primary concerns though.

    Weather is great on I-25 right now. Dry road from Denver to Buffalo and no wind. Glad I'm down here and not up there.

    I was running east at night through snow up there, didn't seem bad. At one point i saw a car sitting way down there in a field, 4 ways on. I couldn't see tracks or damage, was like it was picked up off 80 and placed there.

    I see wrecks along there but the conditions never seem to warrant them. I used to take 10's up in there because it would get quiet during storms.

    That little truck stop off Quealy Dome has decent fuel prices if you're not on a company plan. A little rough but never saw anyone blocking the fuel lanes there, it's gas and go. No waddling mega drivers.
