I hear ya, we have a 10 day trip planned the end of January. That's part of my hesitation starting on Choice.

I've taken 2 weeks off since may for vacation (at different times ) since I joined choice. Shoot I'm at home now been here since yesterday but I do have to leave in a bit though. That's why I love Choice.

how does it work if your settlement isnt high enough to cover your payment .

Thankfully all my bills at home are paid through the end of the month so personal income doesnt matter its just my payment. I saved for a rainy day but i still dont wanna dip into that already

As for payments you call and make truck payment over phone to SFI and same with SNI. If not you'll be deep in the hole when you come back because they still want their money. I just paid mine by phone.

If for whatever reason your loads don't get put through or don't make enough to cover your costs it just rolls over to the next week and the will charge a late fee on the truck note.

I pay an extra $100 bucks per week on my truck note. This way they won't charge a late fee if you don't have enough in your settlement plus I'm buying my vacation time in advance. Then when I want to take a week off and I have enough extra paid in just call your SFI rep and ask to take a by-week on your payment. The extra you paid in covers the payment that week and usually can come out of the house in the + instead it being negative.

I have them take out extra on my truck note as well, plus when I go home, I usually will go home on Sat. and leave back out on Wed. or Thurs. That way I still make enough to pay everything and still be in the positive.
