Whatever floats your boat. It's not like people are staying out over weekends because they are desperate or have a gun to their heads. They do so out of choice. Me personally, I worked the whole 9-5 5 day a week grind for 10+ years. Hated it because 2 days off wasn't enough. I'd rather stay out and work 3-4 weeks straight and then take off 5 or 6 straight. Fits me better, just like you think your schedule is better than everyone else's.

This right here is so true.. It's nice to come home and really get rested spend some good time at home and beat feet out of there before the wife throws dish's at me.. Also advantage to this on a personal note, The Wife is always happy to see you when you come home and she tends to show her "friskyness" alot more. Then if I was home all the time trying to get frisky all the time.

    Just sayin!

the key word here is "choice".....however you wanna run it, and however much money you want to make, and however much time (and when) you want to be home....it's your choice.

    Met a dude tonight, he's cool with $800 a week.....and I'm cool with that.

Well Two more days and 800 miles in the book I ran down 29 to browns summit for a mistake of a load. 29 through va is a nightmare particularly if you are heavy, so many traffic lights and hills. I dont know why NC loads pay so well i hate driving to get them but I love the pay.

Anywho i picked up a P&G load brought it to BJ's NJ that was a mistake also. Traffic rain and more traffic and oh we cant give you a empty. Why did no one tell me first shift had to clear me for a empty from BJ's
Running on recaps this week i have 9 hours right now, im interested in how this week is going to work I've never run on rehaps. I get back 11 tonight and 7 tomorrow nothing Wednesday i'm not sure i'll make to Saturday for my reset.
Im going to find a short hop for tomorrow and then a longer load im just looking to cover cost this week for my last extended stay at home, After Tuesday and bringing my truck out of the shop the training wheels are coming off i think i want to see texas. I've never been

amen.....and get your money going out, 'cause you ain't gonna do much coming back.
But, I've done well the last 2 trips coming out.....hopping to St. Louis is a good choice
    $1.76 on 800 miles out
$1.11 on 630 miles to St. Louis
    then
$2.00 on 1050 miles to CT

I have not been to Texas this year. In a couple of months every IC will be running down south. This winter I'm going to stay below I40.
