If you meant UPS pilots, not USP pilots, they easily clear that. Airlines throw money at pilots. When the airline I was with signed our collective bargaining contract after a few years of negotiations we all got a nice bonus of generally over 20k. I was at a regional flying 50-70 seat jets and fellow more senior captains were easily making over $100.00 per hour. Mainline guys ( flying the bigger birds) significantly more. Those days make getting a 1€ per mile raise driving a truck seem a little, well, I’m not sure what the word for it is.
