You tap the brake in your car and wonder why the engine brake isn't coming on.

 

Thats why I was thinking about putting on my '04 Ford diesel. Seen it done a few times !

 

dont screw up that 6.0 anymore than it already is...i had nothing but sheer trouble outta that engine

 

i hear Chevy just came out with a factory Jake in their diesel 3500 or 4500 trucks. thought that was interesting.

and i've been guilty of reaching for my Jake MANY times only to find it aint there cause i'm in my Personal vehicle.

 

I have had good luck with mine, 135,000 trouble free miles *knock on wood* I know they are notorious for many problems though. If I put one on there it would be pretty loud since my truck is straight piped.

I have seen that new Chevy commercial advertising that too, pretty cool. Wish they would have let us here what it sounded like.

 

I myself have probably towed 50-75 of them back to the dealer in the last year alone.

 

Ya just can't beat cubic inches, 7.3 litre, even though I've got a bit of trouble with mine right now. I've faith I can fix it!!!
