You paid how much for a truck?

How I will know if truck eating a gallon of oil only I will find out when I'm driving the truck . But before you drive it's hard to know .. used truck always like the watermelon red or white

 

I don't think that is a bad price, they probably have some room so haggle with them a little.

As far being an oil burner, there are not many trucks that accumulate 250,000 miles in less than 2 years with broken oil control rings; in other words quit worrying about crap like that.

Detroit engines have not been 2 cycle engines for many years, the DD series do not use oil excessively and their emissions system implementation is about the best going of the major engine manufacturers; the economy of the DD series is also pretty good compared to what's out there today.

 

So your argument assumes that there's plenty of smart O/O & L/O out there, right?

if that is true, then why are so many of them "high payment" players falling to the wayside after a few years?

They must be real smart...lol...and it cannot possibly be their own doing, coz they reeeeeaaal smart... EY!

Also, just because **YOU** will not pull at $1.20/mile , does not mean the next "smart" guy wont cave in.

Lol hey man I'm averaging almost $3/loaded mile this week.

 

I just back from the Ritch brother's yard
and I took a look at the truck the one I was thinking to get it freightliner casc
2015 mileage 250k
too many rust almost everywhere frame and axle and rust around the hup seal and rims I open the hood take a look rust and sign for oil leak .. from inside I need a lot of work to make it good. Tires over use and I think the truck at the yard from at least 2 to 3 months when you see truck like this what you think You think to get it or never mind ..

We looked at 4-5 trucks that were listed in our area over the 3 days....and each had its issues. Remember these trucks are not exactly in a dealer lot, so we had to visit each seller and do our inspections....but since you are such a genius
