Young wife, mother of 2 killed by a simple pothole

I wonder why individual government workers can't be held liable for stuff like this?

Oh and I-20 was in terrible shape last time I went though there, it actually scared me. And I grew up driving in the Bronx! So I know my pot-holes.

 

Why would anyone be driving 70mph on a road in such poor shape?

Or Detroit. I told the boss it was like going into a war zone and we just quit going to that state entirely.

 

There are some areas of WI that can be pretty bad too. Heck, parts of E Washington Ave in Madison reminds me of a wagon trail!
