Back not long after I first started driving a truck, I was sent to Beaumont Tx to get a dozer. They had hno real address or directions, just an auxillary football field on 25th ave, or something along those lines.
It was on one of those nice gulf coast days when it was raining probably an inch an hour, and the 25th avenue started and stopped several times through town. I looked for 3 hours or so and called in wanting some directions, no can do hey tell me. lol
I look for another hour or so and call back, no can find without directions of some kind. lol
they had sent me to the wrong town, once they got the town right, it was down right easy to find. lol

 

Probably delivering onions to the Bronx or Queens. The tight backing into some small building and all the cars parked along the side of an already narrow street is a fun challenge. But the people will drive right up behind your trailer and stop so you can't backup without hitting them.

Just get me 30 seconds and you can go by. Nope, gotta run up your but and then sit there and honk and cuss..

 

I sent my self 2 Darwin awards for forgetting to unhook lines twice while pulling away.

mind I add both times I was on the phone with either my wife or kid, so not sure who to blame Adam and his descendants or Eve and her descendants.

 

Dispatcher sent me to 6509 14th concession rd near this town.

I see it in the map book and according to gps as well. No street view yet.

I drive there..... no 6509 but I’m on 14th concession.... reached the end of the road.

Double checked map, I’m on the road....

While going through, I see Fourteenth concession 20 mins away... near same town. GPS confirms that is 6509 according to street view.

I back up a little ways, get to Fourteenth concession, there it is, 6509.
