FYI: call the marshal service if a dot officer every wakes you up on your 10. they arrested several troopers in ohio for waking truck drivers up on there break. they have our backs since we are federal regulated. trust me i been driving for 35 years

 

In Arizona, that's pretty much true.

 

I was telling my son about him yesterday. I told him the story of how he used to get going 140 downhill near Bloomsburg, PA.

 

We got one driver... well I was talking to VP of something or another to ask if something this driver said was true. Politely he asked if I believed anything he said. I told him that Mike seems to be allergic to the truth!

Mike told me he had 2 200 gallon tanks on a Pete. He had 12 series60 in his yard that were rebuilt and I could buy one for $6,000 and his shop would install it for $1,500!

 

I had a driver tell me that he loved Alaska.

I said man that's too cold for me out there.

He said nah man I love the cold. When I'm in Alaska I sleep naked and I open the windows at night.

I couldn't help but laugh out loud.

 

And then he wakes up, dives into the nearest river and yanks a salmon out of a grizzly's mouth for breakfast. True story.

 

I can say for fact this is not true. I got one for 59 in a 55 earlier this year

That really made me laugh out loud thank you.

Knowing that crazy bugger, I'm surprised he didn't end his story with that.

This is not related to anything else but that guy was so crazy... we were lease drivers together.

On this one account, and I'm sure with many others but on this particular account he would pull out of the yard and drive 15 minutes to the TA and park and go have breakfast for an hour and a half. Then he would go make some deliveries and then go to the gym for an hour and a half. He really did do that. Every day.

Then, because he went to the TA everyday, he knew the waitress. Well I sit down one day with him to have breakfast and the waitress, who was wearing a skirt, stands directly in front of us and proceeds to put her leg up on the stool, semi exposing herself.

And then she says, "whaddaya wanna eat?"

I was simultaneously disgusted and entertained, but definitely more disgusted.

That was a crazy dude.
