I knew that . My wife works for USPS and was a carrier for 5 years . She's a dispatcher now . Heaven forbid work slows and workers get some slack . Management has no concern for customer service . Cut a route and add the pieces to other routes . You wonder why people go postal . The only thing keeping the jobs bearable is the unions .

My mail delivery time changes on a regular basis anyway. We have been here for almost 4 years, and I think we have had at least 10 different mail carriers.

I expect that in the future, we will be seeing mail delivery every other day or twice a week.

I have no idea what the rates are. Mostly use online payments and email. Cannot remember the cost of the return mailings from last year. It could be a cost increase for me to add to the returns this year.

I doubt that . They can't even eliminate Saturday deliveries .

It will not surprise me. They have cut the hours available in our town to even visit the post office. Yet they receive full pay when they are only open maybe 6 hours of the day and 2 on Saturday.

Been like that for years here.

Heck, where I work we don't even have delivery. Residents have to take a stroll to the post office to get the mail from their boxes. (Mail is sorted by 9:30 a.m.)

Our post office is kinda like the social center of the community. :yes2557:
