    I don't think they fell on deaf ears. There just doesn't appear to be too many teamsters on here (me included). For good reason as well.

    I think that teamsters have real good jobs and most have no reason to even begin to look for a site like this. And why should they? The pay and benefits they receive run circles around just about every other non union company out here so don't feel like your post was in vain.

    Lat,...I hope I'm not hijacking to much,...But today I saw a green and white "Reimer" (sp)..truck with a sleeper pulling a set of Roadway doubles,....I have never seen anyone but Roadway pull a Roadway trailer till today,....Is that normal??

    If you google them Reimer Transport, it says that they are a part of Yellow.

    Reimer is part of ROADWAY - our Canadian division (just like New Penn handles our deep North East)

    we are all part of the YRCW family - which includes USF Holland - Yellow and USF Glenn Moore (and a few super small carriers).

    right now the COO I am talking about focuses on the MERGER between Yellow and Roadway (both LTL line haul)


    new company name is YRC inc.

    (Roadways DOT # is the surviving number)
    after this Reimer will remain as our post merger Canadian division
