I passed my DOT physical but found out I have hypertension... so was only given 3 months to get my BP under control. Doc said with meds I would be given a one year DOT card but should ideally lose more weight so I might not need meds. I have lost 30 pounds this year but obviously still need more time.

 

I took my CDL permit tests and passed. Submitted them to the Yellow Recruiter. Hope to know more soon so I can start the training!

 

I started to take Kyolic Aged Garlic Extract. I did a google search and there are some clinical trials saying it can lower blood pressure significantly. I also started to eat healthier and exercise more.

Yellow finally acknowledged my existence today by stating they received my DOT card and permit! Hope to see some action soon!

While working on getting a TSA threat assessment scheduled I realized I couldn’t find my birth certificate! Pray I find it as they won’t let you go through with it without the birth certificate. Indiana’s telling me it might take 12 weeks for a replacement. Guess I got cleaning and sorting to do this week!

 

I ended up paying for a birth certificate replacement through the state… then found out I can go to the county of my birth and get it pretty quickly. So, I should be getting a new copy some time next week. It is looking like sometime in October I’ll be attending the training.

 

Yes it is!!!! Also my blood pressure is finally starting to stabilize so I’m grateful for that as well. If I didn’t do the DOT physical who knows my blood pressure issue might’ve given me a stroke or a heart attack.
