Looks like Western Express is a pretty good comparison. I don't want to work for either, but there's worse out there.

 

Is this the company that was paying extra to drivers driving older trucks? Thought I remembered seeing an ad about that program a few years ago and wasn’t sure if it was still a thing.

If it is the same company, I always thought that was the goofiest system. A 6 month old truck and a 5 year old truck can be equally good or bad, depending on how much care the shop and driver did or didn’t put into both. Just seemed like a con to pay drivers less than they’re worth. I’ve driven year old trucks that were beat abused and 10 year old trucks that ride like a Cadillac. All comes down to driver care and getting problems sorted out when they arise instead of just shrugging it off as long as it rolls down the road.
