Zillow is kind of shady. They advertise that they'll buy your home from you. What they don't mention, at least not at first, is that they won't pay you very much for it. They'll get you out from under your mortgage but that's about all. You still pay them the realtor fee.
They pretty up the house a little and sell it quick...and get another realtor fee. Anybody see a pattern here?Lennythedriver, Rideandrepair, Catmando and 1 other person Thank this. -
That didn't happen to me though.
Bought my house off Zillow and it worked out well.Rideandrepair Thanks this. -
Why does Vegas always make the shady Real Estate deal , you think they would have learned over the last dozen BKs.

i got that certain feeling that many new home buyers, spending hundreds of thousands of dollars, (close to a million at times) during this panic buying craze, will be underwater in short time.
many homes in my area alone, went well above the $800,000 point. glad i did not sell mine, cuz then i''d have to pay that much (or more), and be underwater in a very few short years from now.
sucks to be them.Rideandrepair, nredfor88 and Catmando Thank this. -
I wondered why they paused buying a month or so ago. They blamed it on lack on contractors at the time.
