The newer paccar fleet trucks have the LCD already mounted in this spot, but on my 2005 T2000 I was struggling to find a suitable mounting spot for a small LCD TV instead of putting it in the hole designed for an old tube type. I'd rather use that upper TV hole for other storage since it'd be a waste of space to stick a 2" thick LCD up there.
So basing the fitting off of the factory design, I removed the useless "shelf" next to the table and mounted the LCD tv/dvd combo. Next week I'll go to the local truck bone yard and find matching diamond tuck interior and fabricate a backing plate so it doesn't look ugly with wiring visible.
575 miles with it mounted there and it hasn't moved around or got sloppy at all. Took me about an hour to do the job.
