TransForce is seeking a CDL A Driver to support OTR operations based in Tuscaloosa, AL. This position offers steady work, reliable scheduling, and the opportunity to work with a driver-focused team. 

CDL A Flatbed Driver Details 

• Schedule: 2 weeks out, 4 days home, start time may vary
• Pay: starting pay .62cpm - more if driver has Hazmat, TWIC, and more years of experience
• Route Type: OTR
• Freight / Load Type: Roofing and construction materials
• Equipment: NEW Mack Anthem - Flatbed trailer. Automatic
• Handling: Tarping and Strapping

CDL A Flatbed Driver Minimum Requirements:  

• License: CDL A
• Experience: 6-12+ months of recent, relevant, and verifiable driving experience. Also accepting students with transferable MOS experience. Paid Training included.
• Endorsements: Hazmat, TWIC preferred - higher CPM
• Equipment Experience: Flatbed preferred, but training provided
• Clean Motor Vehicle Record (no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in the last 3 years) 
• Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements 

CDL A Flatbed Driver Responsibilities:  

• Safely operate equipment on OTR routes 
• Transport freight in accordance with DOT and company safety standards 
• Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections 
• Maintain accurate logs and paperwork 
• Communicate effectively with dispatch and operations 
• Meet the physical demands of the role, including strapping and tarping
