Is US20 between Eugene, OR and Nampa, ID a good truck route?

126 is curvy, has a few small hills as you get towards 20. On 20 once you’re over Santiam it’s mostly smooth sailing. Couple of grades out in the desert to go over but nothing major.

Yeah, it's good. Just take your time.
I'm on the east coast now so I don't know what the weather or road conditions are. I'll check the app real quick.

    RStewart Thanks this.

    US 20 is good today.
Carry chains and spots of ice in a few places across the way, but no restrictions.
At THIS time, all weigh stations are closed as of last report on 20

    RStewart and okiedokie Thank this.

I'm not out there yet. Lol. My favorite brokers are trying to get me to take a 5 stopper out of Oklahoma out that way. Billings, MT, Spokane, WA, Seattle, WA, Kent, WA, Eugene, OR and the last stop in Nampa. They're up to $6000 so they're getting close to my number. Lol.

I wouldn't be running it until Thursday off next week. Weather seems good next week out that way. I should be less than 20k lbs by then as well.

Cool deal. I've been out that way a dozen times or so but never ran 20. I thought I had heard that part of it was restricted to trucks so I wanted to make sure.

The restriction is between Salem & 126/20 junction. Eugene 126 to 20 junction no restriction. If you stop in Bend for food try Jake's Dinner. Just off 20 Eastside part of Bend. Have a safe trip.
